The WLPOA will be holding our annual meeting and picnic on Saturday July 4 at our regular spot, the lot across from the very west end of White Lake Court.
The meeting/gathering begins at 10:30 with our traditional brat picnic immediately following. If you have not been before, this is an opportunity to catch up with your lake neighbors and talk about the lake. It is open to all families who have lakefront property on White Lake and their guests.
Our finances are still good from past dues/donations to the WLPOA, so we won't be collecting dues this year. Come on over and enjoy.
Some other goings on for the Fourth of July - We typically have a boat parade at 6PM. Decorate your boat for the evening and parade around to celebrate America!
Ken Pientka hosts his Peacock Triathlon on Sunday morning. Be at his house on White Lake Court at 8:30. The Tri begins around 9. This is a very do-able triathlon with a 200 yard swim, 9.35 mile bike, 2.0 mile run. Participants can do the whole thing or just the parts they choose. Some people create a team and have each person do one or two parts.
